Role Description

Are you a multi-tasking expert with Medical Office experience? We're looking to immediately hire a full-time, on-site Medical Office Assistant / Receptionist to be the face of our clinic, plus build a pool of qualified candidates to join our team as we expand later this year. This role is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, responding to emails, maintaining supplies, updating medical charts and reporting tools, and working closely with Dr Constantin and Nurse Lindsay to ensure a professional and caring environment for all patients. The candidate will also educate patients about services and medical-grade skincare, help maintain the clinic website, and promote the clinic via social media.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Medical Office in Canada is REQUIRED
• Lives in Canmore or surrounding Bow Valley with reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Loves working independently and finding efficiencies
• Ability to be an Ambassador of exceptional service to the clients
• Impeccable organizational and time-management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills focused on customer service
• Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software (preferably Telus MedAccess)
• Familiar with medical investigation reports, labs, consults, and e-fax
• Experience with appointment booking software and point-of-sale systems is preferred
• Experience with MS Office Suite and Google Business products is preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and billing codes is an asset
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
• Completion of relevant education, Medical Office certificate, or diploma is preferred
• Social media experience is an asset

Our schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, with evening hours on Thursdays.

Salary: $25 to $35 per hour based on experience. Six month probation.

Hours: 32-40 hours per week
