Role Summary
The Mobile Maintenance Planner is responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly planning of all planned and unplanned work for the mine equipment.
Main Responsibilities | Activities
• Create and maintain work plans, equipment bill of materials, work orders and preventative maintenance procedures and schedules in SAP.
• Schedule available manpower to ensure work is completed on time.
• Work closely with the procurement department on ordering and tracking of parts to ensure planned maintenance is kept on schedule.
• Coordinate with operations to prioritize work so that operations can complete daily production targets.
• Create accurate short term and long term maintenance plans and communicate those plans to operations.
• Create reports that track schedule compliance, completed work productivity, and availability metrics.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
• High school diploma or GED required, College diploma and or Certifications in the heavy duty mechanical industry preferred.
• Experience working with large equipment and or are familiar with heave duty mining equipment required.
• 3-5 years of maintenance planning experience preferred.
• SAP and MS office applications experience preferred. Computer proficiency and knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling is required.
• Self-directed and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative to do more than is expected or required in the position.
