Reporting to the General Supervisor, the Planner, Maintenance is responsible for providing maintenance planning, scheduling, project planning, inventory, and asset management for the mine site.

The ability to multitask, prioritize contending demands and remain flexible and organized in a dynamic environment is vital for success.

Responsibilities:
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Manage maintenance programs, scheduling, asset regulatory compliance requirements, and site inventory
- Manage site assets including transfers, and third-party transactions
- Supervise contractors and employee completing site work
- Scope pre-job/project requirements including work plans, labour and resources
- Coordinate contractors and consultants for maintenance and site projects
- Assist with monthly maintenance cost forecasting, annual budgeting, and cost analysis
- Work regularly with site team to build work packages
- Track and report key performance indicators, bringing forward continuous improvement opportunities
- Commission and decommission equipment and manage their maintenance programs
- Perform other activities as assigned by the General Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years maintenance planning experience
- Journeyperson’s ticket, Degree, or Diploma in a related subject area, or a combination of relevant education and experience in mining or heavy industry
- Experience in a mobile maintenance environment or other relevant field
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite®, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel, Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Knowledge of Alberta OHS Act, Regulation and Code is an asset
- Mine maintenance or operations supervision experience is an asset

Salary Range: $91,400 - $112,900
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
