Come support an organization that Strengthens Social Profits in Wood Buffalo while having the opportunity to experience rewarding and challenging work? An exciting opportunity exists within FuseSocial Wood Buffalo Society for an Operations Administrator.

Background and The Role:

FuseSocial is a leader in Fort McMurray and the Wood Buffalo Region
social profit community and is committed to strengthening the capacity of all social
profit organizations in the community through education, development, innovation, research, and collaboration. The Operations Administrator provides operational and administrative assistance to the Operations and Program Staff.

The Operations Administrator provides a variety of administrative, coordination and
logistical services in support of the operations of the organization and sector
development, and leadership FuseSocial pillars. Activities falling within the Operations Administratorportfolio will include, but are not limited to:

Reporting To: Director of Operations

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Operations Support

· Steward and grow sector-wide employee benefits, such as the Macdonald Island membership
partnership.
.Work Collaboratory with Operations Director to learn functions of accounts payable and receivable and onboarding processes and assist when required.

· File all monthly financial receivables and payables. 

· Work collaboratively with the Director of Operations
to learn the functions of payroll and assist when required.

· Manage FuseSocial’s general email accounts.

· Administer office supply request form and order all
office supplies in accordance with budget and needs.

· Manage incoming and outgoing mail; ensuring all mail
is distributed and handled in a timely manner.

· Administer policy and procedure documents with
direction.

· Assists with administrative overflow and special projects as needed.

· Welcomes visitors to the office and training rooms.

· Keeps main office neat and organized, including acting as main liaison with office cleaner and other vendors, and OHS manuals
and safety checks.

· Be aware of and follow all organizational policies and
procedures.

· Manage FuseSocial’s internal operations calendar and ensure it is up to date
with programs, events, office closures and staff holidays.

Program Support

· Support Sector Development Advisor with coordination
of training and development offerings. This includes booking speakers and facilitators, organizing the registration processes and/or delivery of programsurveys.  

· participate in and take minutes of programming team
meetings, subsequently disseminating an action log
within a working day of the meetings close. 

· Attend and take minutes of FuseSocial hosted meetings including Cross Sector InteragencyRoundtable, Interagency Roundtable, and Volunteer Managers Roundtable, subsequently disseminating an action logwithin a working day of the meetings close. 

.Prepare training kits or information packages for training and
development sessions and send material to participants in a timely manner. 

· Liaise with programming consultants and vendors as required to ensure smooth
functioning of activities. 
.Support programming team with the planning and
delivery of community events as required.  

· FuseSocial is a proud member of the Emergency Social Services (ESS) Community Emergency Response Team. It is a job requirement that all FuseSocial employees are prepared and trained to act as a part of the ESS team.

· administration of the organization'sdata management systems and maintenance when required.

  

Accountabilities:  

At any one time the Operations
Administrator could be supporting several programs and initiatives that reflect a community-focused approach as well as FuseSocial’s core values, including inclusivity, collaboration, accountability and
adaptability.

The Operations Administratorto employ aptitudes in strategizing, as well as prioritization and task management and reports to the Advisor, Organization and Sector Development and the Operations Director Together, weekly priorities will be set and monitored.  

Requirements and skills

·Post-Secondary education in social sciences or business completed or in progress.  

· Demonstrates accountability excellence in customer service, relationships, build and maintain professional networks.

· Strong customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

· Comfortability working with diverse teams and communities is
essential.

· Detail-oriented and efficient.   

· Excellent
written and oral communication skills  

· Financial management skills

· Technology proficiency

· Strong time-management and organizational skills.   

Work Hours & Environment

This is a full-time position (75 hours bi-weekly) located in Fort McMurray, AB.

FuseSocial offers a high-flex work environment after your first 90 days; however, the successful candidate must reside in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and must have the ability to attend in-person office work and community-based events/programming as deemed necessary.
