City Experiences is seeking an Operations Coordinator for our City Cruises operation in Gananoque.

About the Opportunity:
The Operations Coordinator will support all general day to day administration tasks. A customer centric approach to daily activities will ensure an amazing experience is maintained for all guests and crew. Acting as liaison between the Marine, Guest Experience, Shared Services and Food & Beverage teams, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of all operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Human Resources, coordinate onsite Uniform program by recording and responding to crew requests and ensuring new hires are fully equipped.
- Assists all departments with updating information channels across location including health and safety and policy boards.
- Performs general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
- Acquires, files, and archives checklists, training forms, and logs from all departments.
- Orders and delivers supplies to Ivy Lea location, as required.
- Supports the general day-to-day office activities.
- Maintains office cleanliness by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Greets and assists the general public/visitors, answer inquiries and provide information.
- Designs/maintains filing, data entry and record keeping.
- Creates letters, memos, and documents as assigned.
- Handles special administrative projects, as well as overflow work.
- Prepares reports as assigned for management review.
- Ensures that all office essentials are readily available and office equipment is in good working order.
- Acts as liaison between departments and shared services to ensure all documents, invoices and mail are accurately received and recorded.
- Be prepared to begin work at scheduled time.
- Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
- Any other duties as assigned by department supervisor or manager on duty.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- O.S.S.D or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education.
- One (1) year administrative experience is preferred.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities/tasks.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help others.
- Moderate computer skills are essential; will frequently work with Microsoft office products as well as point of sale system and web-based applications.
- Will work for extended periods without sitting.
- Full G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull, move or lift up to 35 pounds (16 kilograms).
- May be required to be available for work on all major holidays.
