This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative environment, with hours that vary based on project cycles and your experience level.As the Festival Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the operational aspects of the Annual Icelandic Festival of Manitoba. You will work closely with the festival's executive board of Directors, and event Chairs, with the support of the Festival Administration Manager and seasonal staff, to ensure the seamless execution of all festival-related activities. Your leadership, attention to detail, and ability to manage a diverse range of responsibilities will be crucial in maintaining the festival's reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the company
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyze operational performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Manage and optimize resources to achieve operational goals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency
- Identify and address operational bottlenecks and challenges
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the operations team
