We currently are offering an opportunity for a Full Time, On Premise Parts and Counter Customer ServiceRepresentative. The successful applicant should be motivated, organized, competent and a multi tasker. An existing knowledge of Farm Equipment and experience working in a Parts department is a definite asset but not a requirement. Computer experience required.
M&P Farm Equipment Ltd is a family owned, full service and retail outlet for Farm Equipment located just north of Carleton Place, Ontario. M&P Farm Equipment has been serving the community for 33 years and last year was the winner of the Consumer’s Choice Award for Customer Service Excellence. We are currently an authorized dealers for Deutz Fahr, McCormick and Branson/TYM tractors. Our hay equipment line up consists of Pottinger, McHale and Anderson. We have a complete selection of short line equipment stocking Horst loader attachments, Bush Hog products, Wallenstein, MK Martin, among others.
The Primary Duties of this Parts & Counter Customer Service Representative is to have knowledge and ability to perform as required the following duties:
· Greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner, whether coming through the showroom doors or talking on the phone
· Looking up of parts, ordering, receiving, invoicing and delivery of those parts to either customer or mechanics.
· Ordering includes emailing or phoning Purchase Orders to the various suppliers within the daily deadlines.
· Receiving includes matching purchase orders to actual parts received and following up until purchase order can be closed.
· Prompt invoicing or assigning of parts to shop jobs by inputting the supplier invoice to the computer. Prompt calling of customers for pickup and prompt delivery of parts to mechanic pick up shelves.
· Determining and maintaining responsible purchasing and inventory management
· Performing all tasks in a safety conscious manner – this includes keeping work areas clean and tidy and wearing safety equipment as required.
· To commit to and participate in monthly Safety Training Courses
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday (every second) 8:00 am to 12 noon
Wages: $22.00 to $30.00 Depending upon experience

Requirements:
· Current experience with parts counter Customer Service, parts look up an asset
· Able to lift up to 50 pounds
· Reliable, punctual and able to regularly and consistently attend work
· Basic computer, writing and math skills
· Read & write English, spoken French an asset
· Required to work every second Saturday
