Payroll Administrator
Duties:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local payroll tax regulations
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of data
- Calculate and process deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Generate payroll reports for management review
- Collaborate with Managers to ensure accurate employee information
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
