Payroll Administrator

Reporting directly to the Office Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with payroll functions of the company. The Payroll & Accounting Administrator will complete payroll and invoicing along with other duties as required. This is a permanent full-time position.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

• Enter new employees/Direct Service Providers into systems (DTC & Vista/Sage)
• Organizing timesheets and employees as per their work department
• Ensuring all employees time is entered daily and submitted for payroll
• Maintaining an accurate and up to date job detail listing of each department
• Reviewing and verifying all direct deposits
• Completing payroll
• Knowledgeable with various Unions and maintain updated info from Collective Agreements
• Issue ROE’s, and create any amendments as required
• Ensuring all Employees/DSP’s receive confirmation of direct deposit via email
• Providing backup administration duties as required
• Assist in resolving issues/concerns or direct them to the appropriate resource
• Communicating any reports Project Managers might need as per their site requirements
• Supporting Administration staff on site
• Prepare and present a variety of status financial reports upon request
• Review and verify LEM’s with proper coding
• Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven working experience as a Payroll Administrator
• Previous experience working with multiple Union Agreements
• Thorough knowledge of payroll principles and procedures
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
