Physiotherapy Assistant

Join Our Multi-Disciplinary Team of Healthcare Professionals!

South Keys Health centre is hiring a full-time physiotherapy Assistant to join our collaborative healthcare team. We are an established Health centre located in the South Keys area with multiple speciality professionals, General Practitioners, physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, Chiropractors and Occupational therapists. Our PTAs work collaboratively with our Chiropractors and RMTs to develop treatment plans for patients in a clinical environment with guaranteed access to continuous cross-referrals. We work one shift from 9 am till 5 pm.

Your Compensation:

This is a full-time position. We offer salaried positions with guaranteed hours, which will be determined in the interview. As an employee, you will receive:

Your Qualifications. Responsibilities and Duties:

· A bachelor in kinesiology or an internationally educated physiotherapist working on his/her professional license in Canada.

· Passionate about health, wellness and being of service to others.

· As a PTA, you will work with clients of all ages and perform a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, including administering physiotherapy treatments prescribed by the physiotherapist.

o Conveying instructions to patients, such as how to perform certain exercises and gait training.

o Preparing treatment areas

o Maintaining inventory of equipment supplies

o Maintaining and cleaning medical equipment

o Perform any tasks assigned by a physiotherapist.
