Physiotherapy Assistant / Office Administrator

Harmony Physiotherapy is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant/ Office Administrator to join our Team!

Duties include clinical, marketing, and administrative tasks.

Extended Health, Dental, and Insurance plans provided.

Kinesiologist, PTA, or IEPT status may apply.

Duties

• Respond to all incoming calls, messages and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage physiotherapist schedules by booking and confirming appointments, switching appointments, and building a full caseload.
• Receive and send mail, faxes, and packages as well as keeping paperwork and files organized
• Prepare accurate online patient profiles and patient files before patient arrival
• Organize patient files, faxes, payment records, billing records, and a few various files and papers.
• Support physiotherapists with various office needs like supplies, stationery, and billing inquiries.
• Responsible for direct billing insurance companies, billing for our military patients, collecting payment from patients, and billing WSIB and MVA patients.
• Enter various data and updates in a timely matter
• Maintain a clean clinic and waiting room
• Liaison between our clinic and various clinics and organizations.
• Assist with the planning, setup, and delivery of events that the clinic sponsors
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Assist patient inquiries by direct handling or referral to the appropriate individuals.
• Assist physiotherapists in providing patient care and treatment
• Instruct patients on exercises and activities as directed by the physiotherapist
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
