Bayridge Physiotherapy is a privately-owned physiotherapy clinic in the West end of Kingston. Our team includes physiotherapists, massage therapist and pedorthist. We are seeking full-time clinic Receptionist/Administrative assistant to join our team.
The individual we are seeking should be energetic, compassionate, and hardworking. Job responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Answering telephone calls and responding to email and social media inquiries.
- Booking appointments, checking-in clients upon arrival and keeping waiting room tidy.
- Billing clients including online billing, motor vehicle insurance companies, WSIB and extended health plan providers.
- Liaising with insurance company adjudicators to verify patient coverage.
- Account reconciling and balancing funds at the clinic and following up on overdue payments.
- Regular clinic cleaning strictly following clinic’s COVID-19 policy.
- Administrative functions like filing, photocopying, faxing and ordering supplies.
- Handling all front desk duties with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the clinic operations, inventory tracking and ordering from clinic suppliers.
- Marketing and business development initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Medical Office diploma or Business administration diploma.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS word, powerpoint, internet use including email communication and online billing, booking, maintaining social media accounts
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while keeping multi-tasking and patient service as a top priority
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- A team player with strong willingness to learn
- Customer service background in a healthcare facility is an asset
- Prior experience at a Medical/Dental/Physiotherapy clinic preferred.
- Pay is commensurate with experience.
