Job Overview:
We are currently expanding our team and are seeking a part-time administrative assistant.
Our ideal candidate works well in a team environment, is energetic, eager, passionate and is looking to make a difference in the lives of the families we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence as well as greeting families entering the office
- Provide clerical and administrative assistance for funeral directors regarding memorial packages including: creating/designing and printing memorial cards, guestbooks, tribute videos, etc.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- File and organize documents, both physical and electronic
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Setting up and assisting with funeral services, memorial, visitations and receptions as required
- Light cleaning duties
Skills:
- A valid G Class Driver’s License
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress code required
- Maintain high ethical and confidentiality standards.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
