As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and helping clients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting physiotherapists in the implementation of treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and therapeutic interventions.

2. Providing hands-on assistance and guidance to clients during therapeutic exercises and activities.

3. Setting up and preparing treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.

4. Monitoring and documenting clients' progress and responses to treatment under the supervision of a physiotherapist.

5. Educating clients on proper exercise techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.

6. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment in therapy areas.

7. Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals and team members to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.

8. Assisting with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing procedures.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Certification or diploma in physiotherapy assisting or related field preferred.

- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is an asset.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions from supervising physiotherapists.

- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- CPR and first aid certification may be required.

Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
