Physiotherapy Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work closely with physiotherapists to provide support and assistance to patients in a clinic setting. Your role will involve helping patients with their rehabilitation exercises, providing patient care, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Duties:
- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Guide and supervise patients in performing rehabilitation exercises
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
- Set up and maintain equipment used during therapy sessions
- Provide hands-on assistance to patients during therapy sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, billing and maintaining patient records

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in physiotherapy assistance is required.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures related to physiotherapy
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to follow instructions from physiotherapists and work as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
