KFL&A Public Health is a local public health agency with over 200 staff and volunteers who deliver public health programs and services to the people of the KFL&A area. There are two (2) immediate opening for a Program Assistant within the Substance Use Health and Mental Wellbeing team.
The Program Assistant provides assistance and support to at least one team, division, director, manager or supervisor and acts as a central point of access, an advocate and an ambassador to the program(s) and organization through the provision of quality customer service and support in accordance with KFL&A Public Health’s policies, procedures and values.
The successful candidate will have an Office Administration certificate from a recognized school or equivalent combination of education and experience and a minimum of 2 years general office experience. Minimum keyboarding speed of 40 words per minute with 95% accuracy, minimum data entry speed of 175 keystrokes per minute with 95% accuracy and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Level 2, Excel Level 1) is required. A satisfactory police record check is also required.
