Position: Full-Time Program Coordinator
Location: Merritt, BC
Salary: $61,000 per year
Hours: 35 hours/week
This position will require a flexible schedule working outside of office hours for on call and operational requirements

Summary:
Axis Family Resources Ltd. is recruiting a Program Coordinatorfor our Specialized Supportive Housing in Merritt, BC. The Program Coordinator will manage the Specialized Supportive Housing programs as well as provide direction to ensure that the goals and objectives of the organization are met. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will provide planning, coordination, administration of programs, and participate in the afterhours and on-call rotation. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for talent management such as participation in recruitment, performance management processes, supervision of staff, creation of staff schedules, and approval of time entry on IBEX system. The successful candidate will have the ability to adapt to changes, work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate professionalism and have a positive attitude.

Qualifications & Requirements:
· Supervisory experience
· A diploma in Community Services, Human Services, or other related discipline
· At least 2 years’ related work experience; Direct program delivery experience in the community social services sector with a demonstrated working knowledge of community-based programs and related provincial and community support is preferred
· Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered)
· Effective written and verbal communication

- Coordinate and oversee program activities to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Develop and implement program policies and procedures
- Monitor program budgets and financial resources
- Supervise program staff and provide guidance and support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify program needs and develop strategies for improvement
- Evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for program enhancements
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on program activities

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, public administration)
- Proven experience in program coordination or management
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Budgeting experience, including monitoring expenses and allocating resources
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team of staff members
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of program management principles and best practices
