Job description:
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our construction team. The Project Coordinator will perform a wide variety of duties including but not limited to:
· Assist the Project Manager in, scheduling, and document review and coordination, report generation, and project file management in the day-to-day duties of administration.
· Assist Project Manager in maintaining accurate and up-to-date logs (Shop drawings, RFI, RFQ, Purchase Orders, etc.), track responses and keep Project Manager and up to date of the status.
· Work closely under the guidance and direction of Project Manager and to learn construction methods and contract administration systems.
· Able to effectively use software: MS Project, MS Excel, AutoCAD etc.
Qualifications
Experience and Education:
· A team player with 1-year experience construction project management
· BCIT Building Technology Structural Design/ Civil Engineering Program (or an equivalent credential)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· High energy with a positive attitude
· Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrates solid judgement regarding sensitive information.
