Overview:

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, making this role vital to the project management team.
- Serve as the main contact for suppliers, and sub-contractors.
- Responsible for purchasing goods and services on-site following corporate procedures and policies.
- Prepare job status reports and necessary documentation for senior management reporting.
- Manage the mobilization and demobilization of site offices, furnishing, utilities, communications, etc.
- Utilize CPM schedule software and Planning Aid reports for accurate project schedule maintenance, incorporating a solid understanding of project scope and building strategies.
- Maintain labour monitoring system.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Department to ensure an accurate Awards & Purchasing Log.
- Prepare, track, control, and distribute all contract documents and drawings.
- Manage the timely pricing and processing of CRX changes / Change Orders including distribution of information to the Project Team.
- Provide administrative support to the Trade Superintendents in procuring and tracking tools and equipment, aligning with project requirements and Equipment Department policies and procedures.
- Coordinate housing and travel arrangements for the workforce.
- ·Assist in project closeout, including creating an in-house detailed deficiency/incomplete work list and ensuring the timely completion and sign-off of each item.
- Gain valuable field experience for career development by supporting trade superintendents and project management in the project field.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience in a construction environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction tasks and sequencing.
- Ability to interpret construction contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of initiative and keen interest in problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Willingness to visit job sites as needed.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
