Position Summary

In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, the Project Coordinator, Home Support Scheduling provides coordination and subject area knowledge to plan, monitor, and evaluate assigned Home Support Scheduling services across the health authority that support patient-focused seamless care that is integrated across. Works in collaboration with clinical leads; supports the alignment across all Scheduling Hubs and organizational priorities; and guides the provision of safe, effective, and quality patient-focused care. Supports the planning, implementation (including identifying resource implications) and evaluating initiatives for Home Support Scheduling. Provides guidance to Clinical Operations and, in turn, influences the Home Support goals, objectives, policies, service delivery models, and resource allocation within Northern Health. Leverages relationship-building skills and demonstrating innovative ways to communicate and build consensus within diverse groups on Home Support scheduling matters. Recommends and implements quality improvements that will ensure effective and efficient standardized operations and maintains statistical and various operational reports.
Starting salary will be approximately from $55,677 to $69,596 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
•Diploma in health services administration or related field.
•Three (3) to five (5) years of experience relevant to the duties of the position (management, scheduling).
•Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
•Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
•Demonstrated customer-focused approach.
•System Transformation/Credible Champion - demonstrates systems/critical thinking, strategically oriented to the future, champions & orchestrates change, remains self-aware and maintains effective relationships.
•Ability to develop effective relationships staff at all levels as well as with external agencies.

•Ability to adapt and produce high quality results in a constantly changing and developing environment.
•Ability to multi-task and perform numerous tasks within acceptable time frames.
•Excellent computer skills in order to access and manipulate data from various systems to produce financial and other analysis and reports.
•Strong analytical ability to meaningfully interpret and present data.
•A sound knowledge of the Home Support Scheduling processes.
•Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
