We are looking for a driven canidate who shows a strong understanding and focus towards the leasing and advertising areas of property management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of property activities, including lease agreements, rent payments, and maintenance requests
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion and quality workmanship
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any issues or maintenance needs
- Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Advertise and market available properties to attract potential tenants
- Screen prospective tenants, conduct background checks, and verify references
- Prepare and execute lease agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Collect rent payments and ensure timely payment processing
- Enforce lease terms and address any violations or breaches
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
Experience:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
- Proficient in office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with property management software systems such as Buildium or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and phone etiquette
