Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with security deposit reconciliation, pre-authorized payments, payment arrears and other proprty management based accounting fuctions
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

Experience:
- At least 3 years experience in accounting. Experience in property management accounting would be an asset
- Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or Junior Accountant preferred
- Proficiency in property management accounting software such as RentManager would be an asset
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written English skills

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
