Reception - Full Time Vancouver

Commissionaires BC is looking for someone to work Reception for DFO Vancouver who is responsible for the second floor reception area.
Rotation: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
Payrate: $21.71 per hour
This site requires you to obtain a Public Works Reliability clearance, and to qualify you must have resided in Canada for the past 5 or more years

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Greet and provide assistance to all visitors and employees
• Notify DFO personal of any visitor arrival, and direct visitor's where to go
• Answer visitor inquires
• Maintain security by following procedures and monitoring closed circuit cameras
• Maintain visitor logs
• Verify, issue and maintain departmental passes (ID and access cards)
• Answer any incoming phone calls and emails in a timely manner
• Radio security for emergencies
• Book and maintain DFO boardrooms
• Complete daily checks on the automatic defibrillators (AED)

Your Must Haves:

• Valid BC Security License
• Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years due to clearance requirements
• OFA 1 certificate
• Excellent English speaking and written skills
