Receptionist/Office Assistant

The ideal candidate has a wide range of skills as a Receptionist /Office Assistant in a busy environment. The ideal candidate can adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.

• Provide a friendly and approachable image as the first point of contact.
• Ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Direct visitors and residents to the appropriate person and department.
• Scheduling appointments for admin team as required.
• Manage all incoming calls.
• General administrative support, record meeting minutes, management of mail & courier services, office supply management.
• Assist with coordination of special events.

· Assist with Accounts payable and receivable as required.

• A minimum of Three (3) year experience or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in a Long-Term Care setting is an asset.
• Demonstrate excellent client service skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff and visitors.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Competency in computer software applications such as Microsoft office, excel, & sage intact software.

Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (required)

Experience:

• Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
• Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)
