The ideal candidate has a wide range of skills as a Receptionist /Office Assistant in a busy environment. The ideal candidate can adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
- Provide a friendly and approachable image as the first point of contact.
- Ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Direct visitors and residents to the appropriate person and department.
- Scheduling appointments for admin team as required.
- Manage all incoming calls.
- General administrative support, record meeting minutes, management of mail & courier services, office supply management.
- Assist with coordination of special events.
· Assist with Accounts payable and receivable as required.
- A minimum of Three (3) year experience or similar role is preferred.
- Experience in a Long-Term Care setting is an asset.
- Demonstrate excellent client service skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff and visitors.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Competency in computer software applications such as Microsoft office, excel, & sage intact software.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
