Full Job Description:

Job Summary:

As a Social Media Specialist at BranditScan, you’ll get to work with our marketing team to help develop brand awareness and help in conversion about our mission through Social Media and other exciting projects!

More specifically, you’ll get to:

• Write long- and short-form copy for Social Media, blogs, press releases and emails.
• Develop and execute Social Media and communication strategies.
• Use data to analyze what’s working, what’s not, and reinforce or refocus key messages accordingly.
• Engage with our loyal customers and community online through Social Media.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer content on all our main Social Media platforms which are Twitter (X), Instagram, and TikTok , to build an audience and ensure customer engagement.
• Create and launch email campaigns.
• Create, edit and maintain short & long form articles through our blog and press releases.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• 1-2 years of related work experience
• Ability to provide references & a portfolio
• Experience with email software such as mailerlite, mailchimp or similar platforms.
• Experience with content planners such as Later.com.
• Experience with short form video editing software & Canva.
• Experience with paid campaigns is an asset.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.14-$21.63 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
