The Resolume Operator is a crucial role within the Live Events industry, responsible for operating and managing the Resolume software platform or other similar platforms during live performances, concerts, festivals, corporate events, and other similar productions. The Resolume Operator works closely with the visual and lighting teams to create captivating visual experiences and enhance the overall event production.
1. Resolume Operation: Operate the Resolume software platform to create and control live visuals, video mixing, and projection mapping during events.
2. Content Management: Manage and organize visual content, including video clips, images, and effects, within the Resolume software library.
3. Live Visual Performance: Collaborate with the visual team to design and execute captivating live visual performances that synchronize with the music or other event elements.
4. Pre-production Preparation: Work with the creative team to understand the event concept, theme, and requirements, and assist in the creation and selection of appropriate visual content.
5. Technical Setup: Assist in the setup and configuration of the Resolume software, hardware, and related equipment, including video projectors, LED screens, cameras, and video sources.
6. Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve technical issues related to the Resolume software, hardware, or media playback during Live Events.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the lighting team, audio engineers, and other technical staff to ensure seamless integration of visuals with other event elements.
8. Rehearsals and Testing: Participate in rehearsals and technical tests to ensure the smooth execution of visuals during live performances.
9. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of the visual setup, configurations, and cues for future reference and replication.
· Experience: Previous experience operating Resolume software in live event settings is highly desirable.
· Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Resolume software, including its features, effects, and workflow. Familiarity with video editing, projection mapping, and content creation tools is also beneficial.

· Testing and calibrating the LED panels to ensure consistent and accurate color reproduction across the entire display.
· Troubleshooting any technical issues related to the LED panels, such as connectivity problems or faulty pixels, and resolving them promptly.
· Content Mapping: Collaborate with the visual team to map and align visual content specifically for the LED panels. This may involve:
· Creating custom content or adapting existing visuals to suit the dimensions and layout of the LED panels.
· Utilizing Resolume's mapping features to accurately project visuals onto the LED panels, accounting for any variations in panel size, shape, or arrangement.
· Testing and adjusting content mapping during rehearsals to ensure seamless integration with the LED panels and overall event setup.
· Content Playback and Control: Operate the Resolume software to control and synchronize visual content playback on the LED panels. This includes:
· Managing and cueing up the appropriate visual content for each segment of the event, ensuring smooth transitions and timing with other event elements.
· Applying effects, transitions, and real-time adjustments to the visual content to enhance the overall visual experience.
· Monitoring and troubleshooting any issues related to visual content playback on the LED panels, such as resolution mismatches or playback errors.
· Visual Integration: Collaborate closely with the lighting team and event designers to integrate the LED panels seamlessly with the overall event production. This may involve:
· Coordinating with the lighting team to synchronize lighting effects with the visual content on the LED panels, creating a cohesive visual atmosphere.
