As a Salesforce Developer at CGI, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet the needs of our organization. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our Salesforce platform, improve user experience, and optimize business processes. With your extensive experience in Salesforce development, you will play a critical role in the ongoing success of our Salesforce implementation. You will also be a skilled developer proficient in utilizing OmniStudio to design and implement robust solutions for streamlined business processes and enhanced customer experiences.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and develop complex Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
- Lead and participate in technical discussions, design sessions, and code reviews with the development team.
- Customize and configure Salesforce features and functionalities, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other tools.
- Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and trends.
- Participate in the planning and execution of Salesforce projects and initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
•Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II or higher certifications.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
•Familiarity with OmniStudio suite of tools is plus
•Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL.
•Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, data modeling, and security.
•Experience with Salesforce integrations and API development.
•Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 - $161,600.
