Position Purpose
Enhance your post-secondary studies in Law Enforcement with practical experience as a Municipal Parking Control Officer. Reporting to the Manager of Municipal Law Enforcement you will be responsible for obtaining compliance with Town of Georgina and Region of York Traffic By-laws through the issuance of tickets and/or summonses; completion of a daily activity notebook and responding to various inquiries as directed by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications
- Eligible candidates will be enrolled in a Law and Security, Police Foundations or related course;
- Possess a Valid Class ‘G’ Driver’s Licence and clear Driver’s Abstract;
- Vulnerable Sector Check deemed satisfactory by the Town;
- Drivers Abstract, deemed as satisfactory by the Town;
