Job description

This position will focus on Customer Accounting processes within our accounts receivable sub-ledger.

Key Responsibilities/What You Do:
  • Claiming, depositing and applying incoming premium and service fee payments from customers and policyholders.
  • Working with the Treasury department to invoke book transfers when required.
  • Logging, monitoring, aging and following up on payments that can’t immediately be identified.
  • Exhausting all manner of research using policy admin. and accounting systems to enable payment application.
  • When all research has been exhausted, requesting and following up with the Customer Service department on information that must be obtained from the policyholder or broker.
  • Staying current with the daily incoming payments and reviewing unapplied balances reports.
  • Learning and becoming an expert on SAP AR / CMS and its capabilities.
  • Learning and understanding the flows, interaction and presentation of payments between Compass and SAP.

Key Requirements/What You Bring:
  • Undergraduate accounting or finance degree.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, Business or Equivalent
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well organized and strong time management.
  • Analytical ability.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers as well as different levels of management
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines during peak workload periods
  • Ability to process a high volume of work with minimal errors within designated turnaround times
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player

Ce poste se concentre sur les processus de comptabilité client au sein du grand livre auxiliaire de notre compte.

Responsabilités Clés / Ce Que Vous Faites:
  • Réclamer, déposer et appliquer les paiements de primes et de frais de service reçus des clients et des assurés.
  • Travailler avec le département de la trésorerie pour effectuer des transferts comptables lorsque cela est nécessaire.
  • Enregistrer, surveiller, classer par âge et suivre les paiements qui ne peuvent pas être identifiés immédiatement.
  • Effectuer toutes les recherches possibles à l'aide des systèmes administratifs et comptables des polices afin de permettre l'application des paiements.
  • Lorsque toutes les recherches ont été épuisées, demander au service clientèle les informations qui doivent être obtenues de l'assuré ou du courtier et en assurer le suivi.
  • Se tenir au courant des paiements entrants quotidiens et examiner les rapports sur les soldes non appliqués.
  • Apprendre et devenir un expert de SAP AR / CMS et de ses capacités.
  • Apprendre et comprendre les flux, l'interaction et la présentation des paiements entre Compass et SAP...

Exigences Clés/Ce Que Vous Apportez:
  • Diplôme de premier cycle en comptabilité ou en finance.
  • 2 à 4 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de la comptabilité clients, de la finance, des affaires ou équivalent.
  • Bonnes compétences en matière de relations interpersonnelles et de communication.
  • Bon sens de l'organisation et bonne gestion du temps.
  • Capacité d'analyse.
  • Excellentes compétences en Excel.
  • Connaissance de SAP (de préférence).
  • Capacité à interagir avec des clients internes et externes ainsi qu'avec différents niveaux de direction.
  • Forte orientation vers le service à la clientèle
  • Capacité à travailler efficacement, à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et à établir des priorités afin de respecter les délais pendant les périodes de forte charge de travail.
  • Capacité à traiter un volume de travail important avec un minimum d'erreurs dans les délais impartis.
  • Solides compétences interpersonnelles et esprit d'équipe
