The role
To be successful, you are a seasoned marketing professional with more than 7 years of experience within financial services and have a solid understanding of wealth management and brokerage distribution. As a senior manager, you have delivered effective multi-channel, integrated advisor marketing strategies and programs, and supported advisors in growing their business through scalable marketing solutions; you have provided marketing leadership and support to corporate and business partners; you enjoy collaborating with others and have the professional demeaner to manage stakeholders at all levels of seniority; you possess exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, and are persuasive in presenting your ideas. The best candidate for this role enjoys a fast-paced environment, is detail oriented, and can easily manage multiple deliverables at a given time.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate has in-depth experience developing marketing communications programs and delivering solutions that support brand and business objectives for both B2B and B2C audiences. Key responsibilities include:
Developing scalable advisor marketing programs that respond to primary business needs through web, social media, e-marketing and digital mediums.
Working with sales and senior management, business leads and marketing partners to identify and manage the development, design, and execution of marketing campaigns, and sales enablement programs for advisor and client acquisition and retention.
Creating advisor recruitment and sales support materials with a focus on templated marketing communications solutions.
Communicating regularly with advisors on the suite of support services and resources and collecting feedback on programs with the goal of continuous improvement.
Acting as primary marketing contact for new advisor recruits ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
Overseeing line of business relationships, including acting as marketing consultant, communicating marketing objectives, representing business interests in cross-functional activities, project managing marketing-related activities and providing ad hoc support that allows the business to capitalize on opportunities.
Managing day-to-day requirements to deliver marketing communications campaigns and initiatives, including planning, content development, managing the creative process, stakeholder communications, risk reviews/approvals, market launch and measurement.
Developing content marketing programs that support advisor recruitment and business objectives.
Overseeing the internal advisor portal, and managing modifications as needed through the digital marketing team.
Build and manage close relationships with large cross-functional teams, and key business partners, internal creative partners, external agencies, and consultants.
Supporting adherence to brand positioning, maintaining brand standards, and promoting key messages.
Developing marketing reports on the effectiveness of programs by tracking, analyzing and summarizing data.

Qualifications
Post-Secondary degree (Marketing/Business preferred)
Seasoned marketer with experience developing integrated marketing programs within the wealth sector
Experience developing and delivering advisor marketing communications programs and sales enablement and support activities
Knowledgeable content marketer who understands the critical role content plays within the marketing mix
Strong persuasion and negotiating skills to build constructive solutions and obtain co-operation and support from stakeholders
Solid technical marketing skills, including analytical, measurement and reporting capabilities
In-depth knowledge of the creative process (ideation and execution), design and execution
Superior communication, organizational and project management skills
Self-directed decision-maker and enthusiastic team player with experience interacting with all levels of an organization
Highly organized, self-motivated, adept at managing change and priorities with an ability to work under tight deadlines
Superior written and verbal English language skills; knowledge of French an asset
