We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service or repair. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a warm and friendly welcome
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and services
- Generate repair orders and obtain necessary approvals from customers
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process
- Upsell additional services or maintenance packages as appropriate
- Collect payment from customers and handle cash transactions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
Experience:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working as a mechanic is a plus
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is beneficial
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
- Proficient in cash handling and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
