Duties and Responsibilities
· Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
· Organizing service work orders for technicians and ensuring they are done on time
· Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs and maintenance
· Provide estimates for repairs and explain them to customers
· Upsell additional services or recommended repairs to customers
· Assisting technicians by giving them relevant information for service recalls and manuals
· Handling of customer parts and service inquiries via phone calls, emails, in person.
· Selling and ordering parts and accessories for customers and service jobs
· Managing customer expectations and providing solutions to customer problems
· Submitting and managing all parts and service warranty claims
· Shipping and receiving of parts inventory
· Completing parts counts as required
· Communicating and assisting with the sales and service department as needed
· Process payments and handle cash transactions
Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 1 year experience as a parts technician or service writer
· Customer service experience
· Journeyman Parts Technician/ Parts Person considered an asset
· Computer literacy in excel, word and dealer management systems
· Ability to multi task
· Strong mechanical knowledge
· Powersports experience considered an asset
· Self motivated and able to work under little supervision
· Problem solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
