Studio Manager

Mint Room Studios, the largest natural light studio in Canada spanning 13,000 sq. ft. with 12 unique studio spaces, is seeking an inspired Studio Manager to lead our dynamic team.

Specializing in highly curated, ready-to-use high-end studios, we are on the lookout for a self-starter who is committed to making a difference and demonstrates a proactive approach.

About the Role:
As the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our studios in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This role demands a commitment to fostering a motivated and empowered team dedicated to delivering unparalleled service, maintaining professional standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. We believe in community involvement, and the Studio Manager is expected to be an active and positive influence in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, engage, and empower a service-oriented team.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and orientation of studio attendants.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to drive brand promotion.
• Analyze customer feedback to enhance service.
• Develop strategies to grow market share and diversify the client portfolio.
• Ensure exceptional in-person and offline customer service.
• Manage high-profile clients and address escalated issues.
• Foster strong relationships with existing clients.
• Oversee the coordination of all events, ensuring alignment with studio standards.
• Liaise with vendors for event-related services.
• Oversee all aspects of daily studio operations.
• Implement and improve systems, standards, and processes.
• Oversee budgeting, expenses tracking, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant changes.
• Implement changes based on market demand, ensuring competitiveness.
• Identify opportunities to serve new client segments.
• Launch initiatives aimed at attracting a diverse client base.
• Implement a robust feedback collection system for clients and staff.
• Use feedback to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Represent Mint Room Studios in industry events and community engagements.
• Build strategic partnerships to enhance the studio’s brand presence.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of Hotel, Studio, or Store Management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve results.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Project Management tools (Asana or Monday.com).
• Passion for the photography industry and guest experiences.
