a day in the life: what you’ll do
The Global Mobility team is focused on delivering an exceptional experience across relocation, immigration, and tax. We are looking for a Team Lead to improve our employee experience and mentor our junior team members. The ideal candidate for this is somebody that is passionate in global employment affairs, mobility, and/or human resources.
You’ll report directly to Senior Manager, Mobility & Immigration and you’ll collaborate closely with the team to create a world-class Mobility program. This role will work closely with the Health & Wealth and Mobility team to recommend strategies and ensure synergy across relocation, immigration and tax programs.
  • Create our global mobility operation strategy; providing strategic mobility solutions to meet business needs that support a changing workforce and political landscape.
  • Develop scalable programs and processes that support our increasingly global workforce.
  • You will work closely with various internal and external partners to oversee the immigration, tax, relocation, and compliance processes.
  • Manage a team of at least 3 employees; delegating work assignments, providing mentorship and guidance and acting as a point of escalation for end to end case management.
  • Manage the immigration and relocation vendor relationships - provide feedback to ensure that the vendor meets our service level agreements and provides service consistent with our culture.
  • Provide education and mentorship across our People and Culture team to elevate the employee experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal lululemon departments, such as Payroll, People and Culture, Legal, etc.
qualifications
  • 5-8 years’ experience with working within HR, experience in-house global mobility would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Global Mobility standards in relation to International and/or US immigration; exposure to Canadian immigration is an asset.
  • Experience building Mobility process’ and programs within HR.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of internal structures that collaborate with Mobility to create, educate and implement Mobility programs.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Experience developing strategy and implementing mobility process and/or programs for a global organization.
  • Ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities; strong organizational and process skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate across jurisdictions and cultures.

  • Coaching and mentorship experience is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $82,400 to 103,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
