The RDKB is currently seeking applications for a casual Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the Finance team. This opportunity has been created to provide support during team vacation and sick leave absences.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for performing account receivable duties, as well as accounting and clerical support to the Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Finance, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will complete a variety of data entry, accounting and billing tasks, ensuring confidentiality and privacy in all that they do. This opportunity will suit applicants who possess financial data entry experience, or accounting graduates seeking an entry level job opportunity.

To be considered for this opportunity candidates must possess the following:
- Accounting diploma
- 1 year of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a local government setting
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products including Word and Excel
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, including customer service skills
- Experience with Vadim/iCity considered an asset.

Hours of work: 0-37.5 hour per week, to provide staff coverage and support additional work demands

Compensation: $36.31/hour (2024) plus 10% in lieu of benefits
