What to Expect on the Job:
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Accounts Receivable Clerk/Collector is tasked with protecting the company’s accounts receivable.
The role will be a rewarding challenge for the successful candidate and provides growth opportunities.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk/Collector will be a key member of the Credit Department, who will work closely with members of the administration and managements teams that are located at our Branch Offices across central to western Nova Scotia. This role interacts daily with our customers.

Main Accountabilities of Role (but not limited to):
Accountable for creation, maintenance of customer accounts
Responsible for the review of credit applications and granting of credit
Accountable for the collection of overdue accounts
Responsible for account reconciliations
Assist customers with account inquiries
Support team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Ideal candidate would have:
Collections and accounts receivable experience
Customer service experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel), and general computer software
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lunenburg, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Accounts receivable: 2 years (preferred)
