Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and maintaining customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Process and post customer payments to appropriate accounts
- Prepare and send out invoices to customers
- Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with customer accounts
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable
- Provide support for audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions with customers

Skills:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (Quick Books) and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
