Accounts Receivable Clerk (Part-Time)

Reports to:
Finance Coordinator / General Manager

Summary:

Founded in 1985, Adaptall is a manufacturer and supplier of Hydraulic Metric/British Fittings & Adapters with facilities in Pickering and Mississauga, Ontario; Houston, Texas; and Twinsburg, Ohio. The Accounts Receivable Clerk position is responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Receivable tasks for USA and Canada operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deposits / Apply payments to customer accounts
• Reconcile credit card, EFT, ACH, and cheque payments and apply payments to customer accounts
• Maintain A/R lists
• Collections (email, phone)
• Release orders that go on credit hold
• Maintain and update customer information in company database.
• Release orders that go on credit hold
• Maintain credit limits
• Apply credits from returns (RGA)
• Handle credit reference requests
• Other duties as required

Requirements and Qualifications

• University degree or College diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or education in related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience
• Organized and strong attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Criminal Background Check required.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Accounts Receivable: 1 year (preferred)
