Summary:
Founded in 1985, Adaptall is a manufacturer and supplier of Hydraulic Metric/British Fittings & Adapters with facilities in Pickering and Mississauga, Ontario; Houston, Texas; and Twinsburg, Ohio. The Accounts Receivable Clerk position is responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Receivable tasks for USA and Canada operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deposits / Apply payments to customer accounts
- Reconcile credit card, EFT, ACH, and cheque payments and apply payments to customer accounts
- Maintain A/R lists
- Collections (email, phone)
- Release orders that go on credit hold
- Maintain and update customer information in company database.
- Release orders that go on credit hold
- Maintain credit limits
- Apply credits from returns (RGA)
- Handle credit reference requests
- Other duties as required
Requirements and Qualifications
- University degree or College diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or education in related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience
- Organized and strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Criminal Background Check required.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
