Job Overview:
Olson Insurance Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Insurance Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. A General Insurance License would be an asset.
Responsibilities: Answer incoming phone calls promptly, courteously, and professionally, addressing customer inquiries and directing calls to the appropriate department or person. Make outgoing calls to clients, policyholders, and insurance providers to gather or provide information as required. Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a office or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff members.
- Proficient in computerized systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines
