Bittele Electronics is a well-established and growing electronics company. We take pride in being one of the leading electronics manufacturers in Ontario, Canada. With production facility in China and Canada, we are securing a strong brand and reputation in low volume Turn-key PCB assembly in the EMS industry.
Currently, we are looking for two Business Development Managers for East or West Region respectively, reporting directly to the CEO. With focus on the Electronics Manufacturing industries, this position would be responsible for leading the Business Development initiatives in each responsible region, while creating intimate customer relationships with the goal of achieving and exceeding related sales and gross margin targets.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Developing the strategies to lead technical sales team to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly new business sales targets and objectives.
- Being responsible for development and execution of vertical market and other sales strategies to facilitate sales and revenue growth.
- Monitoring the forecast against actual orders and developing a work plan to ensure the achievement of yearly sales goals.
- Managing strategic clients’ relationships through visits and conference calls to maximize client retention.
- Identifying opportunities from current and new industries, negotiating contract terms, and driving the team to close sales
- Developing, implementing, and reporting on sales metrics and course correction strategies/innovative solutions (when required) to achieve business goals.
- Coaching and training the technical sales team to enhance the skills needed to meet client expectations.
- Taking lead to involve and providing guidance in all technical sales activities to drive for new Business Development, with travelling required.
- Conducting all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Completing other tasks assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Minimum of 5 years experience related to Sales or Business Development, with a minimum of 2 years at the Manager level.
- Electronics manufacturing or Contract manufacturing industries' experience would be an asset.
- With Industries insight and prospecting and analysis
- Professional and resourceful style - able to lead by example, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks/projects.
- Flexible and adaptable - able to positively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Willingness to travel min. 25% of the time.
