Position Overview: We are seeking an EDMONTON BASED Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and fostering strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive sector, particularly within car dealerships.
Responsibilities:
- Outbound Calls: Conduct a high volume of outbound calls (minimum 80 per day) leveraging leads generated from our CRM
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing them with relevant information about our vehicles and services.
- Follow-Up: Implement effective follow-up strategies to nurture leads and guide them through the sales process, ensuring a seamless transition to the sales team.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, and other prospecting methods.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest vehicle models, features, and promotions to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, ensuring the CRM system is up-to-date and utilized effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to transfer qualified leads and provide them with essential information to facilitate the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Development Representative in the automotive industry, preferably within a dealership setting.
- Automotive Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive products, features, and industry trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Organizational Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive working environment.
Location: Candidate must be based iin Edmonton or Sherwood Park, Alberta. This role is in-office.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation range: $50,000 - $60,000 (includes base salary plus variable commission) based on experience
