This is a great opportunity for an ambitious junior professional looking to establish a career in the construction industry. We, Kennen Construction, is a Greater Vancouver-based general contractor providing quality services in residential and commercial new construction and renovations.

In this role, as a project coordinator, you will oversee the Construction Projects collaborating with engineers, architects, subcontractors to ensure timely quality services by planning, organizing and controlling projects; supervising subcontractors and personnel. Our ideal candidate must be a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Key duties

• Plan overall Construction Projects: residential and commercial projects
• Design resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines
• Arrange vendor and construction material delivery for projects
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and client satisfaction

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge and experience in the construction industry is an asset (Not a must)
• Experience in Construction Project coordinator is an asset
• Ability to possess negotiation and self-management skills
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with customers and subcontractors
• Quick learner, self-motivated team player with passion for succeeding
• Flexible with work hours
• Understanding Chinese culture is an asset
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken), Advanced in Cantonese and Mandarin (spoken) is an asset
• Must have a BC Driver’s License
• Currently living in Greater Vancouver area or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
