POSITION OVERVIEW: A Project Coordinator handles administrative tasks for the project manager and team members to keep the project running smoothly. This may include ordering equipment and supplies, managing deadlines and workflow, and scheduling meetings and appointments, working on submittals etc.
Reporting to the Site Superintendent and Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for accurately tracking the cost of labour, equipment, subcontractors and materials during the duration of any project. Also, coordinating related contract administration, procurement and invoicing functions for awarded projects.

- Computers and data entry: Budgets and other important documents for companies are usually created on computers and sometimes maintained in databases.
- Problem-solving: Although project managers may step in to handle significant problems, you should be prepared to work through and resolve minor issues without assistance.
- Positive attitude: Generally, a positive outlook makes it easier to handle the stress of unexpected challenges and also helps the entire team stay positive and motivated.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides Site Superintendent and Project Manager with data and project analysis
Supports project Superintendent and Foremen in management of projects and crews
Assisting the site Superintendents with long term planning and scheduling of projects
Sourcing of material and ensuring delivery to site meets the project schedule deadlines
Tracks productivity, costs and progress on projects
Performs quantity take-off from construction drawings
Preparation of submittals, critical path schedules, progress payments to the client
Issuing RFC’s, INC’s, and correspondence to clients for response and approval
Monitors and provides job cost reports to management on active projects
Creates and submits progress and final invoicing
Coordinates the preparation and submission of shop submittals and as-built drawings
Provides data and input for month-end reconciliations
Communicates with customer technical support departments
Provides technical support to field staff
Maintains files and correspondence on active and completed projects
Communicating with field staff to ensure all contract documentation has been received including
any changes to the original contractual requirements
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
