Project Coordinator - Construction Precast

Modular Precast Systems is a newer business in Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON. We are innovative, fast-paced, technologically advanced, and our goal is to provide the highest quality precast construction components for our customers.

JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Permanent

SALARY: $55,000 - $70,000 /annum (subject to experience)

BENEFITS: Medical Benefits Plan (after 3 months), 6% Vacation Pay

We are looking for an individual that has experience in the construction and/or construction manufacturing sector. You should be proficient in working independently, and proactively, in a team environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with Project Management, Sales, and Production in a fast-paced environment. This requires high organizational skills, attention to detail, timely decision making and proactive problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble proposals and bid packages.
• Prepare and distribute construction documents per project.
• Track and monitor subcontractors and assist in obtaining quotes.
• Organize and maintain project files and documents,
• Support Project Managers, Sales, and Plant Manager.
• Job Scheduling assistance
• Greeting clients
• Answering and directing phone calls
• Purchase Orders through Jonas Software and/or manual forms
• Filing and Organizing
• Track and replace office supplies.
• Responsible for mail distribution and couriers
• Distribution of office memo’s
• Boardroom scheduling and organizing
• General administrative duties

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in construction-related discipline
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a project support role and/or administration
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to accuracy and detail.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and excellent
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize processes.
• The ability to read drawings and hardware lists is a plus.
