Customer Service Representative
Our client is an innovative manufacturer of high-end, quality dampers and air control products, committed to excellence and Customer Service. We are looking for a full-time Customer Service and Sales Rep with the same commitment to top quality, who will assist us with projecting this image in the market place. We are not a call center, you are assisting our existing clients with their orders.
Responsibilities
The Customer Service Rep is a member of a team of employees who work closely together. The duties and responsibilities of the Customer Service Rep will include but not be limited to:
- Effectively communicate and provide detailed product information with our French speaking clients up to 50% of the time, and with our English clients the remaining 50%.
- Provide accurate quotations to customers in a timely fashion.
- All information must be accurately transferred from the customers’ written or oral requests to the Sales software.
- Configuration, hardware, accessory and transport requirements are accurately assessed at the time of quotation.
- Provide prompt answers to customer inquiries or directs inquiries to appropriate individuals within the company. • Inquiries are to be directed as outlined in memos and letters pertaining to company procedures.
- Follows up with customers on status of quotations, and updates Sales software to reflect current status.
- Follow-ups are necessary to provide Outside Sales Representatives with current quote status information. This facilitates securing contracts.
- They are also essential to maintaining a meaningful outstanding quote value on the Quotation Status report.
- Uses Sales software to enter orders in an accurate and timely fashion.
- All information must be accurately transferred from the customers’ purchase order to the Sales software.
- Verifies team members’ orders for accuracy.
- Deals with resolving after-sales issues for customers in a thorough and prompt fashion.
- Participates in, or completes ad hoc projects, as they are assigned.
- To maintain a positive relationship with the customer, in the role of the primary liaison between the customer and the company, as it pertains to ordering and providing information.
- To contribute to a positive company image as a responsive, front-line service representative.
- To provide accurate order information to be transmitted to the production department. Skills and Qualification:
- Fluency in French and English • Experience in a business/office setting, preferably in a Customer Service capacity
- Attention to details/mechanically inclined
- Ability to multitask and set priorities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative setting
- Enthusiasm towards understanding clients' requirements and fulfilling them effectively.
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to work in office- not remotely
