Data Collection and Analysis
• Gather, organize, and consolidate large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Cleanse, validate, and transform raw data to extract meaningful insights using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Develop and implement efficient methods for data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
Data Interpretation and Visualization:
• Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies and solutions.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain regular reports and metrics that provide accurate and up-to-date information to support decision-making processes.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide timely responses to data requests from stakeholders
Data Quality Assurance:
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Identify and address data gaps, anomalies, and inconsistencies, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues.
Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and reporting.
• Recommend and implement process improvements, automation, and tools to enhance data analysis efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of data analysis methodologies and tools.
• Statistical Background will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, cleansing, and analysis using programming languages such as Python or R.
• Solid knowledge of data visualization techniques and experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
• Familiarity with database querying languages (e.g., SQL) and working knowledge of relational databases.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of data without sacrificing accuracy.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, or data mining is a plus.
