Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. ```Responsibilities```
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our electronic medical records system (Epic)
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with managing patient flow and ensuring timely appointments
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure efficient patient care
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
- Process payments and maintain financial records
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, such as Dentrix or Epic
- Strong administrative skills, including knowledge of phone systems and office equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
