WHAT YOU WILL DO:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with the operational groups to monitor ongoing light duty vehicle requirements and adjust fleet specs and size accordingly.
- Monitor US and Canada light duty fleet condition on an ongoing basis for lease term expiries and mileage.
- Coordination and supervision of LDV procurement, commissioning, and decommissioning.
- Negotiate lease terms, agreements, incentive programs with LDV providers.
- Assessment of retail markets, working with providers on wholesaling, and identifying resale markets.
- Evaluate prospective suppliers and manufacturers to ensure they meet the company’s needs.
- Participate in and review the LDV inventory counts on a quarterly basis while maintaining the company standards for loss and gain quarterly as well.
- Assess all leased properties for condition, requirements, upgrades on a routine basis.
- Identify potential annual facility capital requirements.
- Track lease expiries of all properties, completing comparison assessments and supporting information for renewal negotiations.
- Working with legal and finance teams for renewals, terminations, and activations of added/replaced lease properties.
- Assist operations in securing leased properties as needed to cover STEP Energy’s facility needs.
- Maintain Professional relationship with landlords and collaborate on any facility related concerns.
SAFETY
- Maintain focus on STEP Energy’s commitment to safety in all aspects.
- Have a working knowledge of all proper safe work procedures and practices to manage each task in a safe and efficient manner that will ensure that the personnel, the public and the environment are not placed at risk due to our operations.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the company safety program and promote leadership as it relates to Facility and vehicle safety standards.
ADMINISTRATION
- Maintain records and reports of Light duty vehicle listings.
- Create presentations for bi-annual reviews with executives.
- Routine inspection reporting
- Creating requisitions for approval for facilities and light duty vehicle replacements / additions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years experience with the automotive industry, vehicle leasing, and vehicle marketing and resale.
- Experience with Vendor communications and negotiations
- Willing and able to travel in the US and Canada to various Service Centers and supply vendors.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Point, Teams and Outlook) to enable competency in all aspects of day-to-day operations involving spreadsheets and daily communication.

- Strong business sense.
- Strong ability to organize daily tasks and work within defined timelines to meet requirements as well as document completion and submitting as required.
- Organized and efficient with excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proven ability to perform confidently, accurately, professionally and thoroughly in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment while supporting all management decisions.
- Perform all duties within role with little supervision, but able to provide reporting to management upon request.
- Ability to prioritize shifting urgencies and return to the task at hand with ease.
