Front Desk Agent

Samuels Hotel is currently looking for a part time Front Desk clerk. Since we are a small boutique hotel we are uniquely positioned to give our guests personalized attention.

Experience is preferred but not mandatory. Smart Serve Certificate and Food Handling Certificate is much appreciated. Training will be provided.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities for this position:

• Greet guests with a welcoming and friendly attitude
• Perform check in and check out tasks
• Manage online and phone reservations
• Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with our breakfast buffet and room service
• Ensure the daily neatness and cleanliness of common areas
• Respond to requests from guests and management in a friendly and efficient manner

• Ability to interact with guests
• Ability to multitask various tasks of the hotel
• Good communication, writing and computer skills
• Flexible to work weekends and statutory holidays
• Must be available to work shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 9:00pm

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.50-$18.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed
