Job Description
We have both full-time and part-time Guest Service Agent positions seeking candidates that offer professional and exemplary customer service at every point of contact – whether with guests, colleagues or external customers.
Main Duties:
- Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a strong first impression of the quality of service they can expect during their stay
- Perform check in and check out services
- Resolve any guest issues
- Answer all phone calls and make reservations if required
- Be responsible for the safety and comfort of all guests.
- Handle any guest complaints related to noise/disturbances to the complete satisfaction of the guests.
- Communicate all issues/incidents via correct reports to Managers for review the following day
- Understand all emergency procedures
- Prepare reports as required during your shift
Requirements:
- Previous Front Desk experience preferred
- Knowledgeable in computer functions (hotel pms, word, excel, internet)
- IHG and Opera experience an asset
- Attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task
- Confidence in dealing with guest issues/emergency issues
- Must be fluent in English both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a team, and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be a responsible and capable individual, with good communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $17.00-$17.25 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
